I have been trying my best since March to try and bring family and your friends together this is truly ashamed nobody wants to get together unless there\'s death. It takes the life out of us older people in this family that\'s hurting the most. Maybe one day we can all sit down under one roof and really find out who our family is, half of us don\'t know these new babies thanks for listening

If you pay your reunion costs before May 15th & the reunion is cancelled, will you get your money back in full? I don\'t want to pay & then be told we lost money due to deposits. Thank you.

P.S. It\'s kind of hard to get excited about this when the committee hasn\'t even paid their costs yet. Not very reassuring.

Why wouldn\'t you get your money back in full Sue?! The committee isn\'t trying to make money off of the family; they\'re just trying to plan a great reunion! To be honest, I\'m offended by the implication! Whether the committee members have paid or not should not be of your concern…the fact that the committee members have been diligently working on this reunion for two years should let you know that they\'re coming! I can honestly tell you that your excitement level isn’t something that the committee thinks about! If you need reassuring Sue, be assured that the five people who have spent two years planning for our family to come together again (and received nothing but grief), will be there - if it’s God’s Will!

Anyone in & around the Aliquippa area: Mt. Olive has finally called a pastor. After 2 long years, we called Min. Ricky Jackson to be our pastor & he has accepted the call!!! WOOHOO!!! What a FANTASTIC game that was!!! The STEELERS are "DA BOMB"!!! I must admit I was nervous as could be towards the end of the fourth quarter but definitely had hope!!! WOW is all I can say! I represented well here in South Florida with my Steeler shirt (THANKS KELLY!) and Steeler cap! My two Terrible Towels definitely got a big time workout!!! I'm so excited! WOOHOO!!! Love ya'll!

I'm glad you're enjoying the site! Our family really uses it and I'm very happy about that! This is a great way to communicate with everyone at once. I'm still flying high about our family reunion and am now starting to look at all the pictures that the photographer took. They really show what a great time we had...and along with the videos...all I can say is "sweet!" I can't wait until everyone uploads the pictures they took because seeing the pictures from different perspectives is part of what makes it fun! I'm hoping now that football season has started that everyone will start using the message boards since most of us are Steeler fans - no matter where we live! Tell him what you want and he can draw it. And is one of the Top D.J. in the pittsburgh area.His son trav is one of the best dancers won 1st prize at soldiers and sailors.

Hello Family...I gather everyone got there fundraising booklets...I checked out the Track and Confirm and I see that everyone has received them all except for Huck...She already knows why..I am just writing to say I hope you get on them right away..They are fun to sell. I have already completed almost 2 books myself...When you see how easy it is you will probably want more. If you do, please just call me and let me know. We got 8 free books for just ordering them. We can do this family. It is way fun..and people are even inquiring about how we got this started..and you know what people are just giving me money...I had 2 of my friends just donate 20.00 a piece. So it is very easy especially when you have good friends. I just wanted to touch base with you. Family get a hold of your sponsor and ask to sell one for them. It takes no time at all. Hello Family, This is Kerry, Boots oldest granddaughter. I am so excited to finally get to know some of my family members that I haven't seen in ages. With my Dad, Jr., always traveling around in the Army, I didn't get many chances to get to know a lot of you. It's never too late to know family. A little about me. I am 45 years old and divorced for the last 10 years. I have three sons (Jovan-26, Dominique-24 & Dante'-22) all working, living, and doing well in Nashville, TN (no grandchildren yet). I work for an insurance company that offers malpractice insurance for chiropractors and podiatrists. I take care of the licensing for the agents in the company that sell the product. I love it. I sell AVON products in my spare time. I like to go to movies, crochet, read and hang with my girlfriends. My favorite color is blue and I love jazz, r&b, hip hop (no cussing), and classical music. Hopefully, this has given some of you some insight into the kind of person that I am. Now it's your turn, tell me a little about yourselves---hobbies, occupations, likes, dislikes, etc. Come on, let's get to know each other so that when the reunion comes around, we won't all be sitting around like total strangers. Hey Kerry, We fall in the category where we somewhat grew up together but we havenâ€™t been in touch as adults. I am a speech-language pathologist for the Miami-Dade County School System in an intensive program for children from kindergarten-2nd grade with severe speech and/or language disorders. I absolutely love not working in the summer so I am in pseudo heaven right now!! I enjoy traveling which includes visiting family and friends; compiling and researching family histories (considered doing it as a business but I tend to get emotionally involved which doesnâ€™t make for good business!); golf, tennis, skiing, and bowling â€“ all of which I do; listening to all genres of music with the exception of hip-hop/rap, and country; and working/playing on the computer. Actually, whenever I need to wind down, the computer is my friend!! What books have you read lately? Before moving to Florida, I was in a book club and read a book a month!! I have been so busy lately that the last book I read was Harry Potter the Half-Blood Prince (I love that series and am looking forward to the last book coming out next month.) I love that you think the same as me about us getting to know each other before the reunion because if weâ€™re familiar with each other we can just get the party started!!! It's so cool that our site has had over 825 hits!!! Woohoo!!! I also want to say that I'm so excited that our first reunion committee meeting held today was a huge success!! It was wonderful to chat with family that I hadn't spoken with or seen in such a long time - specifically Kerry and Tina!! Hey Everyone, How fantastic is it that we’ve had over 700 hits on our family website!!! This implies that we are very happy to have this forum available to catch up with and learn what’s going on with each other. I love that we are sending in pictures – I especially love the “then and now” section as I remember almost all of us “then” and am excited to see how wonderful everyone looks “now” as I haven’t seen some of us in years!! What I think would make this an even better website is if we used the guestbook and message board to actually communicate with each other!! It’s one thing to look at the pictures but some of us haven’t actually spoken with and/or communicated with each other in eons or ever!! I say let’s bombard the guestbook and message boards with conversations and opinions so when we finally get together for our family reunion, we won’t have to “break the ice.” That said: Tre’ and Dee, what’s going on?? Will you guys be around during the first week in August?? Keith and I will be staying with friends in Jamaica Plain and would like to hook up with you guys while there. I remember the last time we were there we tried to hook up and couldn’t but this time that won’t happen unless you guys are out of town!! All but especially to OD, Just because of you OD, I am going to enter this discussion. Putting on a big reunion is going to be one heck of an organizational nightmare requiring some serious time and effort. Since I don't believe I can put that kind of time into it, I hesitate to put my two cents in. However, I think Kelly's wife Sue has the best thought so far. Thanks for your support Jack. If ANYONE can tell me how many people are in this family, I can make more calls to other places. We have North Park, South Park, etc. I like Kennywood because it has something for everyone. They will provide a PA system & we can have all kinds of games, entertainment. We can do a 50/50 & put that half of money into the "family reunion" fund, etc. I invite anyone to www.kennywoodentertainment.com if you didn't see that web-site under the message board!!! I'm not trying to "run" anything, but I would like to get it rolling. We have to plant a seed in order for it to grow.

Okay, I am going to just go ahead and put it out there...I wanted to do the family reunion in Colorado next year...I realize that some of you might think it is too far...I'm okay with that..We can plan on it in the next two years..But for now, I say lets have it it Florida...Huck has been working so hard on this and I think it would be great to have it there for a couple of reasons...No.1. It is still on the East Coast.. Most of the family is out there. It would be much easier for all of us to get there. Me and my family have never been to Florida and our Elders already live in the South. I don't know of anyone that doesn't want to see Florida anyway. I hope you don't get upset with me Huck for putting this all on you but we got to get started on this thing. When I talked with you late last year I remember you saying that you hosted a family reunion for your husband's side of the family and I thought some of the things you said you did were awesome..Family I say let's start putting it to a vote...Everyone that reads this should go to the message board and vote under Family Reunion. I think that we need to get on with this. I vote Florida..me and mine will do whatever it takes to help..I promise Huck..SMILE...I will host it in 2010 in Colorado...So let's jump guys...Our Elder family members are getting up in age and so are we...let's do this thing.....Okay.
