Make Time for Prayer

This section is for family members who need prayer due to illness, are undergoing tests, are hurt in some way, etc.  Please let us know if a family member is under the weather by using the "contact us" link because "a family that prays together, stays together!!!"
15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (James 5:15-16 NIV)

November 30, 2007Praise report!!! Odessa Green Lazard discovered bright red spots on her legs which did not go away. After various unsuccessful attempts to determine the cause of these spots, she has been undergoing tests.  Since September 27, 2007 Odessa had three biopsies to determine if she had cancer, lupus, or leukemia. After two months of waiting and praying, all test results came back negative – PRAISE GOD!!! While it has been determined that she does not have cancer, lupus or leukemia, it is unclear as to what caused the red spots so she will remain under the care of a physician for the next two years for monitoring. The show of support from family during this time leaves Odessa overwhelmed with love and appreciation. She wishes to thank everyone who went through this ordeal with her as well as those who have been praying for and with her. All of the telephone calls, letters, notes, and emails of encouragement and love helped lift her spirits during this extremely difficult time. Odessa asks that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as this is the beginning of a new phase for her. Blessings to you all.
